My Story
Overcoming hardship is not a new phenomenon. Most of us can relate to struggle and having to overcome obstacles that are either put in place by our own doing, by external circumstance, or and very often by a combination of both.
Believing that we understand every situation and every story, including the individual behind the story stunts human growth and connection. The countless iterations have desensitized us and thus has dehumanized human suffering. Yet, in order for human connection to exist and flourish, there has to be an acknowledgment of our ignorance in the individual experience. Just like snowflakes and butterflies who appear similar but are never identical, individual experiences are always unique despite externally observed and assumed similarities. It is time to acknowledge that when it comes to an individual’s experience, we know nothing. Assumptions must be replaced with compassion, the better-than and less-than measuring sticks of Pride and Ego must be replaced with openness and a desire to better understand.
Years ago, Craine made a bitter and painful decision. Despite his visceral proximity to securing record deals and realizing major success as an up-and-coming young rap artist, he committed himself to a socially approved path of responsibility and accountability. Guided, or better stated, misguided, by America’s dream-killing, passion-suppressing messaging, Craine secured his nine-to-five job and blended in with America’s Stepford existence.

However, proving that it is never too late to pump the brakes on an ill-fitted path, Craine is now powerfully emerging on the scene with an intensified emotionality, bravely and unapologetically sharing his long-suppressed talent.
